Hi, I can't build the extension as I don't have the relevant files. Could you email me the .xpi ? Also, please ignore my previous email, I was looking at the older version and I should have been using this one.

Thanks,

Hello,

The current thunderbird do not allow to open properly the imap urls you were generating in your plugin.
I have posted a fix on
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=385017
It's integrated in 3.x branch, but not in current 2.x

Just to keep you inform, keep up the good work.

Dinesh Dutt:
I'll throw some stuff up tomorrow since I've done a lot of changes. Best would be if you could install the missing dependencies though. What distribution are you building on? My current platform is Ubuntu and the needed packages are mozilla-thunderbird-dev and mozilla-firefox-dev. The later one is needed for xpidl. Might be named somewhat different in other distributions but you should probably look for something like that.

Coren:
Yeah, I'm aware of the URI problems as I've been talking with David about it. Is it even possible to generate "valid" URIs using the XPCOM that opens "something" in Thunderbird today? I currently use getUriForMsg found in nsIMsgFolder but this seems to be rather useless (passing generated URIs to Thunderbird yields no results whatsoever). Maybe you know anything about this? Frankly, would be quite boring if we couldn't open anything in Thunderbird until 3.x of Thunderbird.
